Aston Villa have had a poor season so far and following that terrible start the club decided to sack Steve Bruce and as it stands, Villa are in a state of limbo.

The club currently sits 15th in the table and are in serious of trouble of slipping down into a relegation fight. Despite bringing in the likes of Anwar El-Ghazi, Tammy Abraham and Yannick Bolasie up front, Villa have been unable to turn their poor form around despite scoring 20 goals.

In order to try and improve their poor form, according to The Sun, Villa are not targeting a move for Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The Breakdown

Hudson-Odoi made a huge impact for Chelsea during the pre-season and was on the bench for the club's Community Shield defeat to Manchester City. Since then, however, the winger has remained on the bench behind Willian and Pedro.

One of the best young talents in England, Hudson-Odoi has a big future ahead of him and looks set to be a potential star. Whether that'll be at Chelsea with their poor record of developing young players is a different story.

His ability to take players on at pace and beat defenders one on one is superb and in the Championship, he could provide some real quality to the Villa side.

Over a long and tough Championship season, the West Midlands club is going to need a deep squad and if they bring in the Chelsea youngster, he could well provide some impetus to their promotion hunt.
