Wolverhampton Wanderers have made an impressive start to the season this year and out of the three promoted sides, they look the most likely to remain in the league this year.

So far this year, Nuno Espirito Santo has decided to maintain continuity in his side as he has chosen the same side every week and as a result of that, Wolves have pulled off some superb results namely holding Arsenal and Man City to a draw.

The Championship winners are 11th in the table as it stands and could possibly break into the top this season if they carry out some good business in January.

One aspect of the side that has struggled is their ability to score goals and according to the Birmingham Mail, Wolves are interested in signing Nantes star, Emiliano Sala.

The Breakdown

The Argentine striker has been in superb form of late and has also attracted interest from West Ham, Crystal Palace and Everton.

For most of the season, Espirito Santo has chosen to play Raul Jimenez up front and although he's been involved in eight of the club's 12 games this season, Wolves need a striker who can fire them into the top ten.

For a side that could well compete with Leicester and Everton, Wolves need a star striker up front and Sala could be that man.

A striker who is a constant threat in behind, Sala would be a superb addition to the squad and is a much better goal threat than Wolves' Mexican striker.
