Leeds pulled off yet another 1-0 victory against Sheffield United to keep their hunt for the Championship title alive.

While a lot of teams have moved up and down around them, Leeds have continued to be present at the top and that's thanks to their incredibly balanced side - they have only conceded 17 goals in the league, while also scoring 33.

After a slightly poor period of form a few weeks ago, Leeds have returned to form and aside from their terrible 4-1 loss to West Brom, United have won four games out of their last five.

What makes their form even more impressive is the huge amount of injuries that the side has suffered. Marcelo Bielsa has lost key players throughout the season and as a result, he has had to rely on the youth academy to fill the holes left by the injuries.

One player that has stepped into the first-team squad this season, is Jack Clarke and such has been his impressive performances over the last few weeks, that star man Pablo Hernandez has insisted that the player has a big future at the club.

The Breakdown

The forward has now established himself as a useful player in Bielsa's first-team squad and going into the Christmas period, Clarke is going to be continued to be used going ahead.

His ability to play on either wing is a vital quality for a side that lack players in the position and considering Bielsa's intensive style of play, he will likely be used once again.
