Leeds United face Blackburn following the international break in a game that the Yorkshire side must win after losing their early season form.

Marcelo Bielsa's side has started the season incredibly well but following a few injuries, namely to Kemar Roofe and Pablo Hernandez, Leeds have lost some of their momentum and have dropped from the top of the table. The Yorkshire side still remain very much one of the favourites for promotion this year but the gloss on their superb start might have just warn off slightly.

Against Blackburn, Leeds will be without Luke Ayling and Barry Douglas and Bielsa needs to find a solution to the loss of the two players.

Today, Leeds' under-23 side played against Burnley's and in that game, Phil Hay revealed that Gaetano Berardi played on the left while Jamie Shackleton played on the right side of the defence.

The Breakdown

Barry Douglas has been an outstanding player for Leeds this year and without him, Bielsa will miss a massive part of his attacking threat. On the right, Luke Ayling likewise, has been a solid performer so far this season.

Tom Pearce could step in on the left but if Berardi is available, he would be a massive plus for Bielsa. Although he usually plays as a central midfielder, Jamie Shackleton has shown already this season that he can play on the righthand side, and with both he and Berardi, Bielsa will be able to maintain an attacking threat down the flanks.
