After a feisty draw against Millwall at the weekend, Leeds returned to winning last night as they beat Preston North End 3-0 in a superb win for Bielsa's men, a win that means that they stay top of the table and the leading candidate to gain automatic promotion.

The hosts took a deserved lead before the break when Liam Cooper headed in a Barry Douglas corner. It got even better for Leeds as Tyler Roberts scored his first two goals for the club after having made his league debut against Millwall at the weekend. The Welsh striker was called in to replace Kemar Roofe who was out with an injury.

Following the win last night, respected Yorkshire Evening Post Phil Hay, praised Samu Saiz, Tyler Roberts but specifically Pontus Jansson.

The Sweden international has found it hard to break into the team due to the brilliant performances of Cooper and Gaetano Berardi. However, if he continues to play as well as he did last night, he may well just attract interest from Premier League clubs.

The Breakdown

Since he made the move to Leeds in 2016, Jansson has been an integral part to the side and has become a fan-favourite due to his superb performances over the last few seasons.

At the beginning of the season he struggled to get match fit and couldn't get into the first-team but now the Swede is beginning to show the form he's showed in the past. Unfortunately for the Leeds faithful, if Jansson continues this throughout this season, it may be hard to keep him at the club.
