Under Marcelo Bielsa, Leeds have made a brilliant start to the season as the Whites have surged to the top of the Championship thanks to their brand of high energy football which has suffocated most of their opponents.
Without changing the squad too much, Bielsa has managed to turn some of the current crop of players such as Kemar Roofe, Samu Saiz and Gaetano Berardi into some of the best players in the league at their positions.
Despite losing their first league game of the season last week, Leeds are still top of the table and look the most likely to gain promotion. In what will come as welcome news, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, work is now underway to make a host of improvements at the ground as per Bielsa’s request before he joined the club.
Known for his meticulous approach to every job he takes, in his interview the Argentine had reportedly gone through 70 hours of footage from last season and had even made designs on how the training ground should be improved.
According to the report, Bielsa had made a request for sleeping quarters at the ground, more comfortable indoor facilities which will be completed by November. While it may seem that Leeds are only implementing the small details, the fact that Bielsa has made so many demands and that the club are now putting them in place should get Leeds fans excited for the next few years at the club.
So Leeds fans, what do you think?
