Following such an outstanding start to their season, Liverpool have had a slight dip in form and have gone four games without a win, while also suffering two losses within that run.

In a run of 11 games, Liverpool were handed an incredibly tough four-game run and despite the obvious quality in their squad, any side would struggle.

At the back, Liverpool look outstanding but crucially, their midfield has slightly struggled in the last few weeks. With James Milner now injured, Klopp will need to rely on his squad players to come back and step in. Naby Keita will likely take that role but in refreshing news for Liverpool fans, according to The Times, via the Mirror, that Adam Lallana will return after the international break.

The Breakdown

The England international struggled with injury last season and so far this year he has only featured once. The 30-year-old was back in training a few weeks ago and ruled himself out of the club's recent games to work on his fitness.

He will reportedly be ready for Liverpool's game next week against Huddersfield. Despite signing Xherdan Shaqiri over the summer, to have Lallana return to the squad is going to be a welcome boost to a side that places an emphasis on the midfield's ability to transition from defence to attack.

During his time at Southampton, Lallana turned himself into one of the better midfielders in the league and is ideally suited to Klopp's high tempo style of play.
