After a tough start to the season, West Ham have started to show signs of life as they’ve managed to go two games unbeaten in the league and most recently beat Macclesfield 8-0 in the EFL Cup.
The pressure was starting to grow for new boss Manuel Pellegrini after a winless start to the season but after so many new arrivals at the club, it was always going to take time for the squad to begin to start playing anywhere close to its potential.
The Hammers will go into this weekend’s game with plenty of confidence and today they have been handed a huge boost as according to the Express, Marko Arnautovic is set to be fit for the Man U game.
The Austrian scored in the club’s game against Everton before coming off with a knee injury which forced him to miss last week’s draw with Chelsea.
During the club’s difficult early stages of the season, Arnautovic in tandem with Felipe Anderson, were the two main players that performed for Pellegrini. Indeed, the former Stoke City man has scored three goals in five games while also recording an assist.
Ever since he made the switch to play as a striker he’s become a much more dangerous player and with him up front, West Ham have the ability to trouble most teams in the league.
Going up against a team that has lost it’s last three games, with Arnautovic back in the team, the Hammers should be looking to take three points this weekend.
