Arsenal lost their two opening league games but after that initial disappointment the Gunners have put together a run of form that has seen them win their last six games.

Despite putting together a good run of form, there's still plenty of work to do for Unai Emery. Going forward Arsenal have improved and press much more effectively from the front but in defence, the Gunners are still just as vulnerable as they were under Arsene Wenger.

If it hadn't been for some superb performances from Petr Cech and new signing Sokratis Papastathopoulos, the Gunners may have not been able to string together a run of wins.

The Greece international has made an impressive start to life at Arsenal and has played surprisingly well after a slightly disappointing season at Borussia Dortmund. In what will come as a huge relief to Arsenal fans, according to Ben Dinnery, Sokratis will return to the side this weekend after suffering a dead leg which forced him off against Everton.

The Breakdown

So far this season, Arsenal have conceded nine goals, despite registering their first clean sheet of the season against Everton. While that it isn't a great stat, with the absence of Laurent Koscielny, Sokratis has been essential in the Gunners not conceding any more.

Moreover, the former Borussia Dortmund defender has had to spend a lot of time cleaning up after his defensive partner. Shkodran Mustafi has been a constant liability and the Arsenal fans will be relieved to see Sokratis return this weekend.
