After a tricky first few weeks in charge of Arsenal, Unai Emery looks to have found his feet in north London as Arsenal has put together a run of 21 games unbeaten.

Following years of serene but at times timid football, Emery has started to transform Arsenal into a more dynamic and solid machine. The defence still needs plenty of work but as seen by Rob Holding's huge improvement pre his injury, the seeds of promise definitely look to have been sown.

Going forward, look quicker and sharper led primarily by the league's top striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Ahead of Arsenal's final Europa League group stage match, club legend Robert Pires praised Emery for the way he's changed the attitude and personality of the club.

The Breakdown

When he took over the job, there was certainly widespread relief among the fans after years of poor performances under Arsene Wenger. There was also, however, a feeling that Arsenal had not been ambitious enough.

He may not win the league this year or indeed next but he has certainly put Arsenal back on track to once again challenge for the title in the next few years. Helped by the shrewd talent spotter, Sven Mislintat, all of Arsenal's signings have proven to be a hit at the club and moreover, Emery has seemingly improved multiple players such as Hector Bellerin, Alex Iwobi and Sead Kolasinac.

His frenetic and at times crazed antics on the sideline are a far cry from the quiet almost professorial style of Wenger but that is seemingly what the players needed. The club has been sleepwalking from season to season over the last few years but the Spaniard seems to have finally woken it up from its slumber.
