Domestically, Rangers' form hasn't been outstanding despite The Gers sitting third in the table but in Europe, Gerrard's side has been much better and are currently top of their group.

They go into tonight's game looking to keep up their hunt for the top spot and must win to keep themselves ahead of Spanish side, Villarreal.

Steven Gerrard will be without Kyle Lafferty who is injured and now according to the Daily Mail, Ryan Kent will miss the trip to Moscow after picking up a hamstring injury - the on-loan Liverpool forward had picked up the injury against St Mirren which forced him to come off.

The Breakdown

It took Kent a while to bed into the side but over the last few weeks the Liverpool academy man has been to show signs of scintillating form for the Glasgow club.

In his last four games, Kent has scored two goals to go along with an assist and has been one of Rangers' best players. In Europe, he's played a huge role as not only has he played all three games but against Spartak Moscow, he probably had one of his best games for the club and was unlucky not to break the deadlock.

Without Kent and Lafferty, Gerrard loses two of his best attacking players and in their absence, it will be tough for The Gers to replicate their solid form in Europe. Without Kent, Rangers' European dreams could well take a massive hit tonight.
