It's been a pretty tough few months for Sheffield Wednesday this season following their transfer embargo.

Due to that embargo, Wednesday were only able to sign two players on loan - Michael Hector and Josh Onomah - and over the last few weeks, the lack of arrivals has begun to tell on the squad as The Owls have lost their last four games in the league and most recently were hammered 4-0 by Norwich City.

Under pressure boss, Jos Luhukay, must win this weekend's Steel Derby or he could well be out of the job come Monday.

Ahead of the huge derby game, Daniel Pudil admitted that the squad knows how important the game is and that they must win.

The Breakdown

This weekend's game is crucial for Wednesday's season. If they lose, the manager will probably be sacked and the club could well descend into to the relegation zone.

Unfortunately for Wednesday, their city rivals come into the game looking to get back to winning ways after slipping up against Nottingham Forest at the weekend. The Blades have been one of the better sides in the league and have scored 27 goals this season and go up against a Wednesday team that has one of the worst defences in the league as they've conceded 30 so far this year.

If Wednesday can win this game, it could have huge ramifications on their season. Debry wins can often kickstart a run of excellent form and if they can beat their rivals, they may well just be about to put a string of wins together.
