Following their terrible 4-1 loss to West Brom before the international break, Leeds got back to winning ways yesterday as they beat Bristol City 2-0 in what was a much-needed win for Marcelo Bielsa's side.

Leeds put in their worst performance of the season against West Brom. Darren Moore's side were just too much for a patched up Leeds defence and the Elland Road faithful will have been relieved yesterday as their side beat Bristol City.

While the win keeps Leeds in the top three, Bielsa must look to reinvest in the squad in January and according to the Bristol Post, Leeds are interested in signing Tom Heaton.

The Breakdown

Heaton has found it hard to break into Sean Dyche's side this season. Due to his injury, Dyche was forced to bring in Joe Hart over the summer and so far, the Man City has been in good form this year.

When Nick Pope returns, it's likely that he'll return as the club's number one and therefore, a move away might be wise for Heaton.

Valued at just £3.6 million, Heaton is a goalkeeper with a vast amount of experience and for a time, was one of the better goalkeepers in the Premier League.

With Jamal Blackman picking up an injury in an under-23 game this week and moreover, considering Bailey Peacock-Farrell's poor form of late, it would seem that Leeds need to strengthen.

This season's Championship has been incredibly competitive as up to 10 teams could gain promotion this year. With that in mind, Leeds must add some quality to keep up their hope of a Premier League return.
