Marcelo Bielsa didn't sign too many players over the summer and recently, that lack of investment has begun to take its toll on the side.

Kemar Roofe, Pablo Hernandez and Gaetano Berardi have all recently picked up injuries and without those key men, Leeds' form has dropped drastically.

Since losing to Birmingham City in September, Leeds have only won three of their last eight league games. Against West Brom they put in their worst performance of the season as Darren Moore's side demolished Leeds with their brand of superb attacking football.

That loss now means Leeds go into the international break, third in the table. What must be remembered, however, is that Leeds are still only three points off the top and remain one of the favourites to gain promotion.

Recently, Tyler Roberts has opened up on what Bielsa is like as a manager and considering how much he's developed under the Argentinian, it seems as though Andrea Radrizzani made the right decision in bringing him in.

The Breakdown

Roberts joined Leeds from West Brom for £2.5 million in January but injuries had kept him out of the first-team picture until this season. With Patrick Bamford and Roofe, injured, Roberts was used as the starting striker and did surprisingly well.

In seven games this season, he managed to score two goals while also grabbing an assist. His breakthrough at Leeds has also seen him break into the Wales side and with Bielsa as manager, he could well turn out to be a superb player.
