Leeds United are currently on a five-game win streak and have managed to overtake Norwich City at the top of the Championship table.

Marcelo Bielsa has turned the side into of the best sides going forward but also one of the best defensively. United have only conceded 18 goals in the league this season and as it stands, Leeds look like the side most likely to win the title.

Bielsa does, however, need to strengthen his squad in January in order to keep their title push alive. The Argentine manager has been hit with a raft of injuries of late and has had to call on the youth academy in order to supplement his squad as it goes through this terrible injury run.

To add even more pressure to the squad, Leeds have confirmed that Samu Saiz will leave the club as soon as the January window opens. With Bielsa refusing to be too active in the January window, he'll need someone to step up and fill the Spaniard's place in the squad and Tyler Roberts has put himself forward to do just that.

The Breakdown

Tyler Roberts has played eight times for the side this season after being drafted in following the injuries to Patrick Bamford and Kemar Roofe. Despite having relatively little experience in first-team football, the young forward performed well for the club as he scored three goals while also registering an assist.

Although he usually plays as a striker, he could well be adept at playing in the number 10 role.
