West Ham spent heavily over the summer as they tried to recover from what was a terrible season last year.

Not only did they bring in a raft of new signings but they also brought in Manuel Pellegrini, who's probably the best manager the club has had in recent years.

With so many new arrivals entering the club, it was always going to take time for the players to adapt and play to Pellegrini's style and formation. Over the last few weeks, it seems as though the manager has finally found his best team and despite losing their last two games, the Hammers seem to finally be entering a patch of form.

With that in mind, Pellegrini has a tough decision to make this evening as he could either rest his best players in order to keep them fresh for their upcoming Premier League fixtures, or he could play his best team and give West Ham a chance of silverware.

According to the reliable ExWHUemployee Twitter account, Marko Arnautovic is available to play tonight.

The Breakdown

This season, Arnautovic has been in superb form and has scored four goals in eight games this season.

Last year, his game was transformed when he was moved inside as a striker and scored 11 goals in 31 games while also grabbing six assists.

Such is his importance to the side, that if he gets injured, West Ham could well slip down the table. This season he's struggled for fitness and the fact that he's available for tonight's game is great news.
