# These 3 Man United players must surely be on your fantasy team – Agreed?

**The new season is upon us, hurrah! The time has come for all of us here at the Football Transfer Tavern, including the Landlord who thinks he’s in the know when it comes to this, to get our teeth into the fantasy football season.**

Some of you may have prepared a squad and are still unsure of who to involve, but why look any further than the club who have arguably done the best business of the transfer window so far, Man United.

Any doubters of Mourinho and his band of summer signings will have been more or less silenced by a dominating opening day win over Bournemouth on Sunday.

So, with that having been said, who should you involve this term from the Red Devils? These may set you back a bit, but they will be well and truly worth spending a little extra on, here are our THREE Man United picks for your side…

## Zlatan Ibrahimovic

This choice comes without saying! He is a proven goalscorer at every club he goes to and continued that trend with a debut goal in the Premier League.

One United supporting punter reckons the Swede will easily grab 20+ goals this season which means you’ll have points coming at you from all angles.

The 34-year old will also be an assist machine, playing alongside his [perfect striker partner](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/zlatan-ibrahimovic-insists-wayne-rooney-8551036), Wayne Rooney, the pair look set to take the season by storm.

## Paul Pogba

This has been one of the most prolonged and talked about transfers in footballing history, but he will be worth the hard work.

Our staff feel he will fit right in and proceed to produce assists for Ibrahimovic and those around him as well as score a number himself, as we know he can hit a shot!

He has unfinished business at the Theatre of Dreams and wants to come back and prove Fergie wrong, which isn’t often done. A definite player to have in the midfield of any fantasy team.

## David De Gea

David De Gea, is amongst the best goalkeepers in the world and although his future was uncertain under Louis Van Gaal, our staff believe that under Mourinho he will be encouraged to stay and we all know that on his day or not, The Spaniard can be near impossible to beat.

Even with a shaky defence in front of him he can stop anything, and those saves he’s renowned for making will tally up loads of points in your fantasy team, which is what it’s all about.

There isn’t a better shot stopper in the Premier League and with what could be a solid centre back pairing in Smalling and Bailly at the back, a very few amount of goals will be conceded as United look to put themselves back in the title hunt for the first time since Sir Alex’s departure.
