With less than two weeks until the start of the new Championship season, Leeds United supporters in the Football Transfer Tavern are perhaps more excited than most.
After a 2013/14 campaign to forget, there is a great deal of hope amongst the Elland Road faithful that things will be better this time around – although nobody is quite sure what to expect.
The club have appointed a new manager in Dave Hockaday and new owner Massimo Cellino has been busy in the transfer market with five new additions so far.
Most of which remain unknown quantities however, having arrived from smaller clubs in Italy.
It remains to be seen whether Cellino has plucked some hidden gems – or major letdowns – but the club do have a crop of talented young players at their disposal, which Hockaday will hope to develop further over the course of the season.
At least Leeds supporters don’t have takeover turmoil and managerial sackings and re-hirings to concern themselves with – we hope!
With supporters hoping their club can rediscover the success it once knew so well, we have taken a look at what we consider to be the strongest eleven for the club heading into the new campaign.
