A lot of QPR fans believe this attacking duo can turn their season around

According to The Sun, Championship strugglers QPR are on the verge of signing Brighton’s Tomer Hemed and Burnley’s Nahki Wells on loan.

With further reports on Twitter confirming that the deals are being finalised, many fans of The Rs have shown their excitement on Twitter.

This is the kind of news that fans at Loftus Road want after enduring a very troubling start to their season, including their biggest loss in 31 years at the hands of West Brom.

Hemed (valued at £2.25m on Transfermarkt.co.uk) had two very successful seasons in the Championship with Brighton before the south coast club earned promotion. His tenure in the Premier League has been less fruitful, and he will relish dropping down a division again.

Wells (valued at £4.05m on Transfermarkt.co.uk) has also experienced a fairly uneventful spell at Burnley, with limited game time last season. He will equally look forward to plying his trade in the Championship.

Both players will have a challenge on their hands, if they are to join, in dragging a lacklustre QPR up the table.

Here’s what the fans have to say:
