‘Best thing since sliced bread’ – Leeds fans laud one man despite Derby defeat

Leeds United supporters were far from happy in the Transfer Tavern on Tuesday night after seeing their side succumb to a fifth defeat in their last six Championship matches following a 2-1 loss to Derby County at Elland Road.

Thomas Christiansen’s men have endured a tricky spell in recent weeks but still remained in the top six prior to kick-off, and they looked on course to snap out of their testing run when Pierre Michel Lasogga gave them a seventh minute lead.
