Blackburn Rovers fans will be hopeful of keeping Bradley Dack at the club past the upcoming January transfer window.

The playmaker leads the club’s scoring charts with eight Championship goals to his name already this season. As a result of his impressive showings, Dack has attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur, who could be set to spend £25 million to bring him to North London.

Thus, his future remains unclear, but a potential transfer windfall would allow manager Tony Mowbray to significantly bolster his ranks come the New Year.

However, regardless of whether Dack leaves, Blackburn would be wise to add to their attacking options in January. Danny Graham has just three goals in 16 appearances so far this season, with more goals certainly needed if Rovers are to climb the table during the festive period.

One man who they could look to sign is Liverpool youngster Dominic Solanke.

Valued at £9 million by Transfermarkt, the forward joined the Reds last summer on a free transfer from Chelsea, and made plenty of appearances from the bench under Jurgen Klopp. However, the youngster is yet to make an appearance following the return to form of fellow England international Daniel Sturridge, with manager Klopp recently hinting that he might let the prospect leave the club on loan in January.

Solanke remains a top forward who would score goals for fun in the Championship. The ex-Chelsea man showcased his ability on international duty with England’s Under-21s this month, scoring four times in two appearances for his country. Regular football for Rovers would certainly aid his development, at the same time giving Mowbray another quality option in the attack.

Solanke will be hungry to prove himself, and could help Rovers achieve a play-off place at the end of the season - it would surely be a win-win for both parties.
