West Brom remain hot on the heels of Sheffield United at the top of the Championship table following a comfortable 4-1 win over Reading.

Leandro Bacuna opened the scoring after just seven minutes and the visitors held onto their lead until half-time. After the interval, the Baggies were clearly inspired by Darren Moore’s words and came out firing. A quick-fire brace from Dwight Gayle as well as goals from Harvey Barnes and Kyle Bartley ensured West Brom continued their fine run of form.

West Brom are the top scorers in the division with Gayle and Jay Rodriguez striking up an excellent partnership. However, the latest set of reports suggest that Moore is lining up a move for Blackburn Rovers star – Bradley Dack. A move for the 24-year-old could take their attack to the next level and guarantee promotion back to the Premier League.

Valued at £4.5m by Transfermarkt, Dack enjoyed a terrific debut season at Rovers after joining from Gillingham last summer. He netted 18 goals in League One, helping secure a return to the Championship and scooping the League One Player of the Year award in the process. His tremendous performances have continued in the higher division with Dack netting seven goals and registering five assists in just nine appearances so far.

Adding the Englishman to their already potent attack would be a terrifying proposition for their Championship rivals. Dack’s intelligent runs from behind the striker and his link-up play would greatly benefit Gayle – potentially meaning even more goals for the Newcastle loan star.

He may be expensive, but it could prove to be a fantastic addition to the squad.
