The promising 18-year-old, who has been with the Leeds United Academy since the age of seven, has put pen to paper on a new deal which runs until June 2020.
This season he has stepped up to Under-23s level and has been a key player in helping Carlos Corberan’s side to an unbeaten start to the 2018/19 campaign.
The 18-year-old definitely looks to be one for the future and could even enjoy a breakthrough in the first team having witnessed the likes of Tom Pearce, Kalvin Phillips and Jamie Shackleton’s development.
Indeed, Leeds United have always been proud of what they can produce in their academy ranks and Callum Nicell looks to be another exciting prospect, so it was crucial that they tie him down to a new contract.
