Charlton Athletic will look to build on an impressive victory against Barnsley at the weekend with a home meeting against Oxford United on Tuesday night.
The Addicks played their first match following the international break on Saturday and managed to record a solid win against the Tykes at The Valley.
Lee Bowyer’s side will now welcome back former boss Karl Robinson’s side and will want to keep the momentum they have picked up going in League One.
On loan Arsenal defender Krystian Bielik is a doubt for the game as he had to leave the field with cramp against Barnsley and will still need to be assessed ahead of the game.
Igor Vetokele could miss out of the game against Oxford after he picked up an injury during a training session, whilst Karl Ahearn-Grant will be looking to keep his starting spot after netting a brace against the Tykes.
Charlton have been performing well in League One this season and are not higher in the league because of their own defensive mistakes.
If the Addicks can get those finally sorted, they will be a promotion contender this season and a tough side to compete against.
Oxford currently find themselves in the relegation zone and will be looking to do all they can to get the points, however, the south London outfit will likely have too much for them on the night.
