Coventry City will welcome Wycombe Wanderers to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday afternoon as they look to build on last weekend’s win against Charlton Athletic.
The Sky Blues came from behind to score twice in the final 10 minutes to record the three points for Mark Robins side.
Coventry have had a mixed run of results recently, however, the victory against the promotion-chasing side could help to get them more wins on the board.
Amadou Bakayoko, who netted the winning brace, should be in contention for a starting position as he came off the bench to give them all three points.
The 22-year-old has been behind Jonson Clarke-Harris in the line-up, however, the forward has scored just twice in his last 10 matches, meaning Robins has a decision to make.
Jodi Jones is expected to be available for the Sky Blues as he recovers from illness, whilst Jordan Shipley will be unavailable as he is away on international duty with the Republic of Ireland’s Under-21 setup.
Coventry will want to build on their impressive performance against Charlton last weekend and start putting together some momentum.
Robins will need to make a decision on whether to hand Bakayoko a start following his brace, or whether to stick with Clarke-Harris up top and use the 22-year-old from the bench once again.
Wycombe have had a real mixed bag of form in their last six League One matches, having won twice; drawn twice and being beaten twice; so Coventry will feel confident of getting a result as long as they play their own game.
