Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be expecting the future of some key figures at the club to be clarified over the summer and could be in for some news regarding the situation.
There has been talk that Paul Heckingbottom’s future is up for debate at the club, having only arrived from Barnsley in February, although he was not many of the local’s choice for the job when he replaced Thomas Christiansen.
There has also been growing concerns from a number of the punters in the bar that the director of football’s, Victor Orta, position should also be considered and Phil Hay has provided the fans with an update.
Orta will definitely stay on. Heckingbottom is still there but I think the crunch will come over how much all sides agree on recruitment.

On his personal Twitter page, the Yorkshire Evening Post journalist has revealed that Orta will “definitely stay”, whilst Heckingbottom is “still there”, although there could be a “crunch” in the future.
The news would not be what many of the locals would have been hoping for, as there continues to be a cloud over the future of the manager. Many will feel that the boss’ future at Elland Road will be up this summer, as Orta continues to make the transfer decisions, whilst Hay has made a solid statement about the Spaniard and appears to be unsure about the former Barnsley man’s position.
