Crystal Palace fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are given optimistic news from The Mirror who say they are targeting Manchester City outcast Scott Sinclair.
Managerless Palace are ready to compete with Queens Park Rangers in the race to sign Sinclair who has 18 months remaining on his £52,000-a-week deal at the Etihad Stadium.
Sinclair enjoyed a short loan spell at Palace back in 2008 and it is believed the 25-year-old is ready to leave the Premier League champions as he looks to revive his career with frequent first team football.
QPR share the same desire to capture the winger who has shockingly only started two league games since his £6.2 million move from Swansea City in 2012.
Punters think he will suit Crystal Palace’s direct attacking style at Selhurst Park with the Eagles having earned a reputation as a fast-paced counter attacking team.
He would also represent a key transfer replacement as the Eagles are of course set to lose Yannick Bolasie to the Africa Cup of Nations with DR Congo.
Crystal Palace fans. Do you think you will manage to sign Scott Sinclair or will he opt for QPR instead? Let us know your thoughts below.
