According to The 72, QPR's opponents this weekend Blackburn Rovers have been without star man Bradley Dack in training this week.

Rovers' manager Tony Mowbray said that Dack was absent from training yesterday with a tight calf, casting doubt on his availability this weekend. This in amongst seven other injuries that the side from the northwest are experiencing at the moment.

This is massive news for QPR, who would have highlighted Dack as Blackburn's danger man leading up to the game. The midfielder has six goals and two assists for Rovers so far this season, being played as either an attacking midfielder or striker, and has been the club's best player so far this season, leading the goalscoring.

Apart from the 3-0 loss to Swansea, QPR's defence has been remarkably solid since their early-season troubles. The absence of Dack will make The Rs job that much easier, particularly if they are to be without influential defensive midfielder Geoff Cameron for the match.

Manager Steve McClaren will look at Rovers' injury list and feel that this should be a game to win, even if it is at Ewood Park. The Hoops are in terrific form at the moment, only losing one of their past eleven games in the Championship, including a three match winning streak.

While it is not confirmed that Dack will be out of the game, he may be carrying this slight injury, meaning he may not be 100% fit for Saturday's match. This is a prospect that QPR should take full advantage of in their pursuit of the top six.
