Leeds United will still have their sights set on securing automatic promotion in the current campaign, but things have been made a whole lot harder after their recent loss against Norwich.

Marcelo Bielsa has worked wonders up until this point in the current campaign, there's no denying that, but his side will need to improve if they are to stand any chance of securing promotion to the Premier League.

Indeed, things haven't always been perfect at Elland Road this season as a number of first-team players just haven't been able to put in the kind of performances that Bielsa and the fans deserve.

Stuart Dallas is currently nursing an injury out on the sidelines but he wasn't exactly performing at the top of his game prior to suffering his injury. An injury crisis made it easy for the Northern Ireland international to secure regular minutes earlier on in the current campaign, as he was used as a last resort. It would be impossible for him to break into the side if he was fit as Luke Ayling and Barry Douglas have since returned. He has been quite impressive moving forward at right-back but his defensive efforts have let the side down as mistakes are ever-present.

Also, Jack Harrison showed plenty of promise towards the start of the current campaign but he soon lost his way in the side as a number of disappointing performances forced him to drop down the pecking order. Bielsa has relied on him in recent times but he just hasn't been able to repay the Leeds boss for his faith, as he loses the ball regularly and is often overshadowed by other players on the field, with just two goals and two assists to his name all season.
