Darren Moore have duo available for Championship opener - Championship

West Bromwich Albion will begin their Championship campaign with a home match against Bolton Wanderers.

The Baggies will be looking to make a swift return back to the Premier League and Darren Moore will want to see his team get a positive result against the Trotters.

The manager will be pleased that he could have a number of names available to him that he would not have felt would still be at the club.

According to a match preview by BBC Sport, West Brom could have both Salomon Rondon and Jay Rodriguez available for the clash with Bolton.

Both strikers have been heavily linked with a move away from The Hawthorns following their relegation from the Premier League, however, they both still remain with the club and Moore may turn to them.

Sam Johnstone, Jonathan Bond, Kyle Bartley, Harvey Barnes and Conor Townsend could be available to make their debuts having all joined the Baggies during the summer window.

However, it is unlikely that new loan signing Tosin Adarabioyo will feature, whilst Craig Dawson is set to miss out with a thigh injury, despite trying to force a move away from the club.

The Verdict:

West Brom will be looking to get their campaign off to a solid start and Moore will be pleased that he still has a number of players available to him.

The manager could turn to the likes of Rondon and Rodriguez as they would prove to be an attacking threat, however, it remains to be seen if he does decide to play them, following the interest from Premier League sides.

Should West Brom be able to get the three points from Bolton, they will be delighted with the start and will look to follow the result moving forward as they look to earn promotion back to the top-flight.
