Dejphon Chansiri holds crisis talks at Sheffield Wednesday

Concerns are thought to be increasing at Sheffield Wednesday as time continues to go by.

The Owls have managed to win just one Championship match in their last ten attempts, which has led to calls for Jos Luhukay to be sacked from his position as manager.

There has been some suggestion that a new manager could be on the cards at Hillsborough, with a belief that Steve Bruce has been sounded out about the role.

However, it does appear that there are some concerns from the club’s owners about the current situation they find themselves in.

According to a report by The Sheffield Star, Dejphon Chansiri has held crisis talks with the players at the club’s training ground.

The Thai businessman arrived back in the UK after several weeks away and spoke to them about a number of issues Wednesday are currently facing, with tensions also thought to have run high.

The Verdict:

Sheffield Wednesday certainly need to turn things around and fast if they are to keep their place in the Championship.

The Owls are thought to have already found themselves in a precarious position when it comes to financial fair play and can not afford to be in the position they currently find themselves in.

It remains to be seen if Chansiri takes action and whether he sticks by Luhukay to get the job done, however, the Dutchman will need to get things improved immediately on the pitch.
