Derby County will be looking to continue their ascent to the top of the Championship with a win against West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday night.
The Rams are in fine form at the moment under Frank Lampard and will have a sense of confidence heading into the game against the Baggies after defeating Sheffield United at the weekend.
The Pride Park outfit are unbeaten in their last five Championship matches, although they have only managed to win two of those games and will come up against a side that have been scoring for fun at home recently.
Craig Bryson will be unavailable for the Rams after he had to limp out of their 2-1 victory against the Blades at the weekend, although the manager remains hopeful his midfielder will be back soon.
George Evans is another that will not feature as he picked up a knock in his bid to recover from a knee injury he sustained in August, whilst Joe Ledley still remains on the sidelines following a hip operation.
Bryson’s absence could be a huge blow for Derby and their efforts of trying to halt West Brom on Wednesday night.
The midfielder has played a crucial role for the Rams this season, having featured in all bar one of their Championship matches and having found the net on a couple of occasions.
Lampard has admitted he remains hopeful that the 31-year-old will not be out for too long and Derby will be keen to have him back in the team as soon as possible.
