Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be wanting their season to just end as quickly as possible, with another setback being revealed to the locals.
The Whites will be looking to finish their disappointing Championship campaign in a positive manner when they face Queens Park Rangers on Sunday in the finale, however, they will have to do it without a number of key men.
The Elland Road outfit have been dogged with injuries all season and it appears they can not catch a break even as the campaign approaches the end, with both Vurnon Anita and Connor Shaughnessy both requiring surgery for ankle injuries they have sustained.

Adam Pope, who is a sports broadcaster for the BBC, revealed on his Twitter page that both defenders had needed to go under the knife, however, a number of locals feel the club would not have played them in the clash with QPR.
Anita is struggling to make an impact at the Elland Road outfit, whilst Shaughnessy has impressed in spells but is thought to have shown some potential.
The locals in the Tavern will be disappointed that another couple of their players have suffered big injuries, and despite hoping they come through them stronger, a number of the punters will not miss them for their match with QPR.
