After the deal was finalised for Blackburn Rovers to sign teenager Ben Brereton from Nottingham Forest last week, we discussed whether this was the right option by The Reds.
The 19-year-old Brereton looked to be a promising player for Forest, so it may have seemed odd to fans that he was effectively sold to Blackburn in the summer. However, since arriving at Ewood Park, Brereton has struggled to make any impact whatsoever, and has had to settle for brief appearances from the bench by and large.
With that in mind, we asked you whether Forest were right to sell Brereton, and these were the results:
In light of the success of Lewis Grabban at The City Ground this season, Forest fans may have perhaps forgotten about Brereton at the club, and that is why 84% think it was the right decision to sell him.
The fans clearly want success as soon as possible, and Brereton did not look to be the man to provide that.
