Sheffield Wednesday have had their injury concerns so far this season, however, they do not appear to have halted the team’s progress.
Jos Luhukay has guided his side to an impressive sixth position in the Championship so far and will be looking to continue the fine form his squad have managed to put together.
The Owls will meet Middlesbrough on Friday night as they look to close the gap on city-rivals Sheffield United, however, one player could miss the game against the Blades on 10 November.
According to the club’s official Twitter account, Luhukay has confirmed that Fernando Forestieri has suffered an injury blow that could see him out for a few weeks.

It is understood that the attacker has picked up a hamstring injury whilst in training and will need to sit out of their game against Middlesbrough on Friday.
Forestieri has had a tough start to the campaign, having missed out parts of it due to injury before being hit with a belated suspension following an altercation that happened in pre-season.
The 28-year-old has been finding his feet for the Owls recently and will have been disappointed to have to spend more time on the sidelines.
Should he be out for a few weeks, he could miss the next five games for Luhukay’s side, which will include the Steel City Derby, a game Wednesday would have wanted Forestieri to have been a part of.
