After it was revealed recently that Nottingham Forest manager Aitor Karanka didn’t know where his team were in the Championship until being told, it raised some important issues.
We discussed this approach, believing that it was the right one for success, as the manager is less preoccupied on points, rather the performance of his team. If that is his main focus, theoretically the points will fall into place.
With that in mind, we asked you if Karanka had the right approach in order to achieve success, and these were the results:
A staggering 91% of Forest fans believe that their manager has the right approach to gain success. Thus far, there is no denying that it is working, as The Reds have climbed up to fifth in the Championship table after a fairly rocky start.
Whether this is just an act by the manager is unclear, but it’s certainly doing the job.
