The Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to their club’s Twitter post, showing 25-year-old forward Kemar Roofe in training as he continues his return from injury. Roofe has scored nine goals in 30 Championship appearances for The Whites this season playing both up front and on the left-hand side of Leeds attack.

Kemar Roofe is currently enjoying his second season at Elland Road after signing for the Yorkshire club from Oxford United having impressed with the U’s. Roofe’s nine goals for Leeds in the Championship puts him second behind Pierre-Michel Lasogga in the Leeds goalscoring tables, despite the fact he’s missed a quarter of the club’s games so far.
The Leeds fans will be hoping Roofe can hit the ground running in his return to the first-team. Caleb Ekuban has been leading the line as of late and has come under criticism for his poor form in front of goal, scoring just once in 15 appearances for the club. The rest of Leeds’ games are meaningless in terms of their league finish as the side aren’t going up or down with six games left to play, although they’ll be looking to gain momentum and hit next season strong as they aspire to end what will be a nine-year stay in England’s second tier next season.

Good, now need to start work on taking players on again and actually running at defenders. Can be a good player 100% but like the others there seems to be no progression to go hand in hand with no confidence.
