Derby County will be looking to build upon their impressive 2-1 victory against Sheffield United at the weekend when they travel to The Hawthorns on Wednesday.
The Rams will face off against West Bromwich Albion as they look to continue their ascent up the Championship table.
Frank Lampard has had a fine start to managerial life at Pride Park, having witnessed his side take six wins from their 13 matches so far in the second-tier, as well as an impressive League Cup run which will see him take on Chelsea in the quarter-final.
The Scottish midfielder had to come off in the first half against the Blades at the weekend and Lampard has admitted he would be a big miss for his side.
“He will struggle for West Brom,” he told the Derby Telegraph.
“It’s a small injury, so we’re hoping it’s a case of being out for days rather than weeks.
“We will assess him over the coming days.
“He would be a big miss because he has been one of our outstanding players, for sure, but it would give someone else an opportunity.
“We hope to have him back very soon.”
As Lampard said himself, Bryson will be a big miss for Derby on Wednesday and they will be hoping he does not have to miss too much more action in the future.
The midfielder has started all but one of the Rams’ games in the Championship season so far and has emerged as a key player for the club, chipping in with two goals and two assists.
Derby do have the likes of Tom Lawrence to fill in for him, however, they will be eager to have the 31-year-old back as soon as possible.
