The Leeds fans in the Transfer Tavern are finally understanding the motives behind the club’s post-season tour of Myanmar six weeks ago. Andrea Radrizzani, the club’s owner, has just secured a nine-year deal to the TV rights for the Myanmar National League for his company Eleven Sports.
it's a hefty deal for Radrizzani's Eleven Sports in Myanmar – a nine-year contract for the TV rights to the Myanmar National League. Six weeks since Leeds played there.

At the time, the agreement to go out on tour to Myanmar was extremely controversial. The club’s two matches out in the middle east were cause for not so much celebration back in Yorkshire, as fans questioned the decision to send their squad out to such a strange destination for a post-season warm-down, especially after the way season went with the club throwing away place in the playoffs to finish 13th after some shocking form after the turn of the year.
Whilst most fans had forgotten all about their controversial tour of Myanmar, the coverage that the country got through the Whites visit has ultimately led to Radrizzani reaping the rewards with his other business venture in Eleven Sports. In the long run, the fans are of the opinion that Radrizzani getting these deals will boost hs personal wealth and lead to him pumping more money into the club, which is never a bad thing.

I'll be honest…I'm not bothered about tv deals in Myanmar, I want to see money thrown at my club. The club I've thrown money at for 30 years.

Can any of this eleven sports stuff filter through to Leeds?

Financial opportunities abound – even in places where human rights abuses occur, and I’m not just singling AR out in that regard. It’s sadly commonplace across the business world.

seems to be a period of rapid expansion for @ElevenSportsHQ . Got to be good for us.

Whilst in the long run, the financial benefit will probably be felt by the fans, for now, they’re not happy that Radrizzani has used Leeds to benefit his other ventures.
