Hernandez and Klich can increase Leeds’ promotion chances today

Leeds United managed to secure an impressive victory away at Sheffield United in the Championship last time out, as they managed to earn valuable breathing space.

The Whites have managed to ensure consistency for large parts of the current campaign, with another win later on today helping their automatic promotion push massively.

Leeds United will welcome Queens Park Rangers to Elland Road in their next Championship fixture. The Hoops have failed to win in their last three matches, so the Whites will fancy themselves in front of home support.

Therefore, these TWO Leeds stars can help take Marcelo Bielsa’s promotion dream one step further today…

Mateusz Klich has defied expectations in the current campaign at Leeds United having established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Championship. The Poland international has already popped up with a number of wonder strikes in the current campaign, along with producing a number of assists for his teammates.

Therefore, he will be key in the middle of the park for Leeds against a Queens Park Rangers side that have been vulnerable in defence recently, with one of his defence-splitting passes possibly creating a goalscoring opportunity.

Pablo Hernandez recently won the PFA Player of the Month award for November, after scoring three goals in four appearances for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

The Spaniard just seems to get better with age as he’s showing no signs of slowing down at this moment in time. He currently has seven goals and four assists to his name, which is an incredible return when you consider that fact that he has only featured in 12 games for Leeds this season.

So, having witnessed his quality over the past month or so at Elland Road, he will no doubt play a huge part today.
