Our Wolves fans here in the Transfer Tavern are seriously looking forward to seeing what their side is going to do in the new Championship season.
It’s that point in the year where pretty much any club in the second tier will fancy themselves for at least a play-off place and it’s that competitive nature that makes the competition such an enjoyable one to follow.
Indeed, Wolves are certainly going to think that they can get there or thereabouts for the top six this season coming with Nuno Espirito Santo in charge.
Indeed, he’s been quick to reshape the squad with Jorge Mendes also floating about and one of the players to have been let go in all the changes is George Saville.
Saville, then, is to begin a new chapter at Millwall who were promoted from League 1 last season and on his departure he tweeted his thanks to the Molineux club, sparking a big response:

Good luck, I think we did see the best of you at Anfield and Stoke. Don’t score against us, hopefully you’ll be at left back.

Good luck Sav, a pivotal part of the team that day at Anfield

Fair play. Wasn’t always the best of times, but I’ll never forget how you owned that Anfield pitch. Good luck at Millwall
