Leeds United fans here in the Tavern will be hoping for promotion to the Premier League next season, with the summer transfer window being of huge importance.
Paul Heckingbottom will be desperate to get fans on his side before the start of next season, as many of our local residents are less than pleased with how their side has performed since he took over.
Interestingly, Leeds may be able to challenge for promotion next season if Andrea Radrizzani provides a heap of funds, as a number of changes will need to be made after a less than convincing campaign. Indeed, with other Championship clubs looking to bring in a number of players over the course of the summer transfer window, Leeds will need to complete their own business.
Therefore, Andrea Radrizzani needs to deliver this signing for Paul Heckingbottom ASAP…
Leeds United will be hoping that Swansea City’s relegation to the Championship doesn’t have a negative impact on any potential deal for Oliver McBurnie this summer.
Encouragingly, the 21-year-old established himself as one of the most prolific striker in the Championship during the second half of the season. The forward was sent out on loan to Barnsley during the January transfer window, where he managed to bag himself nine goals in what was a very successful loan spell.
So, having seen that he can deliver the goods in the Championship, perhaps he’ll be able to help fire Leeds United into the Premier League next season.
