Leeds United will be gutted with yesterday’s result at the Riverside Stadium as they passed up the opportunity to pile the pressure on Norwich City.
It’s safe to say that the Whites haven’t been at their best in recent times in the Championship, despite their promising position in the table, with consistency being a real issue.
However, Angus Kinnear recently provided fans with a positive update, as according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Jack Clarke is to return home but will undergo more tests this week.
Jack Clarke is returning home today but will undergo more medical tests and sit out of training this week after collapsing at Middlesbrough yesterday, so it looks as if the Swansea game will come too soon for the attacker.
The youngster was given oxygen and tended to by paramedics after being taken ill at the Riverside Stadium.
“Jack spent the night under the supervision of the medical staff from the club and he will return home today.
“He will undergo some more tests this week and everything is looking well but he won’t train for the rest of the week.”
Jack Clarke has been influential for Leeds in the current campaign, so supporters will be pleased to see that the youngster has returned home.
But, with medical tests to be conducted and Clarke set to miss training this week, the Whites will inevitably be without him on Wednesday night against Swansea City.
