Jamal Blackman certainly did not have the best of times in his short spell with Leeds United this season.
The Chelsea goalkeeper had to return to his parent club prematurely after he suffered a broken leg in training.
The shot-stopper managed to make just two appearances for Marcelo Bielsa’s side in his time, although it did appear as though he would have been in line to replace Bailey Peacock-Farrell had he not suffered his injury.
The 25-year-old took to Instagram recently and used the ‘Ask a question’ feature for all his followers, with one asking him if he would return to Elland Road one day.
Although he did not exactly answer the question directly by not ruling it out, he did appear to give some Whites fans some excitement by stating that he feels they will be in the Premier League.
“Who knows won’t need me when they are in the Prem” he said.
Leeds are certainly one of the strong favourites to go to the Premier League next season and Blackman will have insider knowledge of how confident the players at Elland Road will be feeling about their chances.
With regards to the 25-year-old himself, it is difficult to know what the future really holds for himself presently, although he will be working hard to recover from his broken leg.
Blackman is a very good goalkeeper and will likely play in the Premier League at some point in the future, although it remains to be seen if it is with Leeds.
