Jos Luhukay believes his side has nothing to fear

Sheffield Wednesday will have been enjoying their football heading into the international break and will want it to continue when they return to Championship football.

And, according to a report by the Sheffield Star, boss Jos Luhukay believes his side have nothing to fear as they prepare to face a number of top teams this month.

The Owls will be preparing for fixtures with Stoke City, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa and will be full of confidence after they have won their last three on the spin.

“We must not be afraid of anyone in this league but we are also not arrogant,” Luhukay told the Star.

“We know where we are and what we want to do. We must as a team be strong and continue to develop every day and in every game.”

Things do not get any easier for the Hillsborough outfit following those three matches, as they will then have to prepare for a Yorkshire derby with Leeds United, West Bromwich Albion and Bristol City to round off a tough period of football.

The Verdict:

Sheffield Wednesday have had a great start to the season considering that they did not bring in many new faces this summer.

Luhukay is correct to state that his side do not have anything to fear this season as many would not feel that they will be in a position to create a challenge.

However, the Dutchman will be wary that his side do not take things for granted and will be expecting his players to work hard and rise up to the challenges put in front of them.
