Sheffield Wednesday will be looking to turn things around when they host Millwall at Hillsborough on Wednesday evening.
The Owls have yet to win a game in the Championship this season and things will not have been made any easier for Jos Luhukay’s side, as they have five men unavailable for the clash with the Lions according to a match preview by Sky Sports.
The pressure is already thought to be on the Dutch manager as there are growing concerns about how the team are performing and could find themselves in a relegation scrap if things continue the way they are.
Joost van Aken remains out of the clash with the south London outfit with an ankle problem, whilst Lucas Joao is not yet ready to return from his groin injury.
Kieran Lee, Almen Abdi and Gary Hooper are also out of contention for the Owls, however, Wednesday could call upon Morgan Fox.
The defender has been able to recover from a hamstring injury he picked up towards the end of last season and could make his first appearance of the campaign for Luhukay’s men.
Kieran Westwood could also feature for the first time this season, although he has not been named in the matchday squad once so far.
You will have to feel that Sheffield Wednesday will need to get a positive result against Millwall on Wednesday.
The Owls are currently going through a dismal period and the pressure will surely continue to mount on Luhukay should they fail to take at least a point from the game.
However, with all the injury concerns that they have, it will be a tough ask for the Yorkshire outfit, considering the Londoners are yet to taste defeat in their opening three games.
