Our fans in the Transfer Tavern that support Championship clubs were quick to react to some huge stories in the division yesterday afternoon.
Whilst the likes of Brighton saw themselves get promoted to the Premier League at last thanks to Huddersfield’s draw, their title rivals Newcastle once again lost ground as they slumped to a defeat against Ipswich.
The other big drama, meanwhile, came at Elland Road as Wolves beat Leeds to see the Whites fall out of the play-off places to be replaced by Fulham.
Naturally, then, fans of the clubs that are in the top six were quick to mock Leeds on social media and with just a few games to go, it could get worse for the club.
Time, then, to take a look at what was said on Twitter as the play-off race took another big twist:
Hi @EFL I see #lufc beat #readingfc 32,351 to 16,711 today yet seem to be below them in the table. Can you pls explain how this is possible?
