Our Sheffield Wednesday fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping their play-off surge isn’t going to fizzle out now after they dropped out of the top six at the weekend.
The Owls saw Fulham overtake them over the weekend as the play-off race intensified further but there is only a point in it at the moment and so all is far from lost right now.
Indeed, if Carlos Carvalhal and his men get back on track quickly and put a run together they’ve still got every chance of getting into those final games at the end of the season and going for the Premier League.
They’ll need all the help they can get though, of course, and ahead of Wednesday’s game with relegated Rotherham tomorrow, their manager has provided a positive injury update – via the club’s official Twitter account:

Not long before the squad is back towards full-strength then, Wednesday fans, and that could just come at the right time as we enter these closing stages of the season.
