Tyler Roberts is looking like a player who could do great things at Elland Road. At the age of just 19 there's plenty of time in his career for him to make a real name for himself, however, he will need to use that time and the Leeds fans are prepared to give him it after he failed to impress in his 70 minutes on the pitch against Millwall. You can read about Roberts' display in The YEP.

There's absolutely no doubting that there's a quality player inside Tyler Roberts somewhere and Marcelo Bielsa obviously sees it too, explaining why he threw him in at the deep end away at Millwall on Saturday. With both Patrick Bamford and Kemar Roofe missing it was always going to be tough for Roberts to step in and make an impact but whilst he may not have managed in at The Den, the fans are ready to give him time.

Roberts signed from West Brom last January and he has all the qualities to make it at Elland Road. He could easily have taken the match ball home from The Den after he passed up four good chances, but it's imperative that the fans refrain from getting on his back. After all, he is only 19 and he is still finding himself in these positions. More experienced strikers have succumbed to the atmosphere at The Den and Roberts has got obvious qualities that Bielsa will be keen to bring out in the coming months of the season.

It would be stupid to write off a 19-year-old striker after one poor game in front of goal and the fans are desperate to see Roberts bounce back from his showing at The Den.
