Liam Cooper took to Twitter yesterday evening to give his thoughts on Saturday’s game against Birmingham and it seems the loss is weighing down heavily on the Leeds captain. However, plenty of fans were on hand to get behind their skipper and they’ll be keen to bounce back on Friday.
Tough one to take at the weekend. The best teams learn and come back fighting.. Hard work all week building to a massive game under the lights Friday night.. #MOT

Before a ball was even kicked a lot of supporters were writing off Liam Cooper this season. They believed the defender wasn’t good enough for the Championship and seemed gutted when West Brom wrapped up the signing of Kyle Bartley as they wanted to reunite Bartley with Pontus Jansson ahead of Cooper in the pecking order, instead though, Marcelo Bielsa stuck with his skipper.
That decision has paid dividends and under the coaching of the 63-year-old Cooper has become a player that a lot of fans thought he’d never be. Bielsa’s influence at the club is second to none and after Saturday’s defeat instead of throwing his players under the bus, he blamed himself. Now it seems like the players are desperate to repay Bielsa and want to get all three points on Hillsborough on Friday night.

Wolves lost 9 games last season and still dominated the league, this will do us more good than harm. With your leadership @LiamCooper__ we’re gonna be fine this season, bring on Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night

A loss was bound to come eventually but it's how we bounce back that'll determine how our season will go. It's hard to keep to the high standards you lads have set. Keep at it.

Gutted to lose at weekend but good stats suggests we're going in the right direction. It's been a cracking start to the season, the unbeaten run was bound to end. We regroup and refocus.
